This quality policy is appropriate to the purpose and context of EDWPS and supports its strategic direction. It is communicated, understood and applied by all staff and provides the framework for setting and monitoring of business/QHSSE objectives. This policy is available to all interested parties on our website or by request.  

 

To demonstrate, to both customers and staff, the company’s commitment to quality it is the policy of EDWPS to achieve and maintain recognition with an independent certification body as a company of assessed quality capability under the requirements of ISO9001:2015. The requirements of this system are mandatory for all company personnel and no unauthorised alterations or deviations are permitted.  

 

The company have considered its external and internal issues, the requirements of relevant interested parties and our products and services to determine our scope of approval, as follows;  

 

Scope: The design, production and supply of digitally and outsourced lithographically printed products, and the provision of fulfilment services, to customer requirements, at the Nottingham site.

 

Applicability: Our quality policy and quality management system cover all ISO9001:2015 requirements with the exception of clause 8.5.1f Validation of Processes.

 

Justification: The justification for this non-applicable requirement is that it is not undertaken by the company.

 

EDWPS is committed to review, determine and implement changes to the quality management system in order to satisfy applicable requirements and ensure that its effectiveness is continually improved. Our processes are assessed to mitigate risks and maximise on opportunities.

The company are committed to the protection of the environment, including prevention of pollution and other specific commitment(s) relevant to the context of the organisation and to fulfil its compliance obligations. This policy is available to all interested parties on our website and by request.

a)    ensuring that the IS policy and related IS objectives are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organisation;

 

b)    ensuring the integration of the IS management system requirements into the organisation’s business processes;

 

c)    ensuring that the resources needed to establish, implement, maintain and improve the IS management system are available;

 

d)    communicating the importance of effective IS management and of conforming to the IS management system requirements;

 

e)    ensuring that the IS management system achieves its intended outcome(s);

 

f)    directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the IS management system;

 

g)    ensuring and promoting continual improvement;

 

h)    supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility;

The Managing Director ensures that this IS policy is relevant and appropriate, is available as documented information, is available to interested parties (on website or on request) and is communicated within the company.

 

The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring that the responsibilities and authorities for roles relevant to IS 
are assigned for the conformance to the requirements of ISO27001 and for the reporting on its performance to top management, all of which are communicated within the company.

 

Scope: The management of information security in the receipt, processing and administration of customer supplied marketing data and databases, the transfer of such data to printed products and the processes of fulfilment for these products, conducted at the Nottingham site, in accordance with the Statement of Applicability.

 

In order to meet this commitment, Eight Days a Week has the following key objectives, which are to: -

•    Provide a framework for setting the IS objectives.

•    Satisfy applicable requirements and other requirements.

•    Continually improve the IS management system (IMS).

Information Security Policy

Top management at Eight Days a Week Print Solutions have established, implemented and will maintain this OH&S policy to demonstrate leadership and commitment with respect to the OH&S responsibilities within the overall IMS (Integrated Management System), by:  

​

a)    taking overall responsibility and accountability for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, as well as the provision of safe and healthy workplaces and activities;

 

b)    ensuring that the OH&S policy and related OH&S objectives are established and are compatible with the strategic direction of the organisation;

 

c)    ensuring the integration of the OH&S management system requirements into the organisation’s business processes;

 

d)    ensuring that the resources needed to establish, implement, maintain and improve the OH&S management system are available;

 

e)    communicating the importance of effective OH&S management and of conforming to the OH&S management system requirements;

 

f)    ensuring that the OH&S management system achieves its intended outcome(s);

 

g)    directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the OH&S management system;

 

h)    ensuring and promoting continual improvement;

 

i)    supporting other relevant management roles to demonstrate their leadership as it applies to their areas of responsibility;

 

j)    developing, leading and promoting a culture in the organisation that supports the intended outcomes of the OH&S management system;

The Managing Director is responsible for ensuring compliance with the policy.  Eight Days a Week personnel are responsible for ensuring compliance with all subsequent policies and procedures appertaining to this policy within their area of control.

 

Eight Days a Week personnel are committed to providing and maintaining safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health for all its employees, contractors and visitors that are appropriate to the purpose, size and context of the company and to the specific nature of its OH&S risks and opportunities throughout its’ defined scope.

 

Scope: The OH&S scope covers all trading operations of Eight Days A Week Print Solutions. 
In order to meet this commitment, Eight Days a Week has the following key objectives, which are to: -

•    Provide a framework for setting the OH&S objectives.

•    Fulfil applicable legal requirements and other requirements.

•    Eliminate hazards and reduce OH&S risks

•    Continually improve the OH&S management system (IMS).
